It’s my birthday! Happy day for me! This also marks my blog’s 6th birthday. I can’t believe I’ve been blogging here for that long. NUTS.
We’re not doing a whole lot around our house today (although I did get the gold iPhone I ordered 6 weeks ago. Woot Woot!!!).

Yours was the first calligraphy that really caught my eye. (I even left a comment on one of your posts asking if it was a font!) I’ve been following you for years since then and have become enraptured with modern calligraphy. I would use my calligraphy skills to improve myself as a designer and help make my logo and invitation designs stronger and more unique. I’d also love the excuse to use handwritten notes as practice!

Happy (belated) Birthday Melissa!! I hope you enjoy that new shiny gold iphone! :) I’ve been wanting to take your online calligraphy class for months now. My birthday is actually the last day of November and I was thinking it might be my birthday present to myself this year!! I love writing quotes and sayings on the chalkboard in our kitchen, so I wouldn’t definitely use my new skills there. I also have quite a few friends getting married in 2014, and it would be SO fun to be able to use calligraphy to help them in some way with DIY projects! Lastly, I’m a snail mail person, and a sucker for pretty handwriting, which is one of the main reasons I’ve been wanting to take your class for the last few months – to write pretty letters to others and hope they enjoy it as much as I do! :)
