Calligraphy: I Make Fashion

I love working on projects with Megan Nielsen. She asked me to make a design with “I Make Fashion” on it and keep with her branding. I did a mono line piece in lowercase with symmetrical flourishes.

In this piece, the words go up on the right while the flourishes go down on the right; sort of making a visual x-marks the calligraphy spot. I’m more than jazzed how it turned out. I plan on sporting this tote as often as possible.

I’m pretty stoked to have gotten it in the mail in time for sewing summit. Maybe all the other garment sewists will think I’m cool. That’s my hope at least. You can purchase your own here.

What a lovely surprise! I follow your blog, I follow her blog, but I never knew you guys were connected before now! It’s like when two random people you know on Facebook turn out to know each other too. I looooooove this tote. I plan to buy one, even though the shipping charge from Australia is making me sweat a little. ;) nice work!

    2. Love, love, love it! Makes me want to make fashion too ;)
