Our 24″ iMac is broken. It’s been broken for a while when it was freezing up every five minutes, but it actually stopped working last night. LAME. Hallelujah for time machine, Applecare, iPhones and our dinosaur Powerbook. Without them, I might just keel over and die.
I’ve been working on some fun projects that I can’t wait to share with you, but since the computer is caput, they’ll have to wait for later. To give you a preview, here’s what you can expect to see next week:
iPhone Case 2.0
I had a brilliant brainwave the other day where I figured out a totally new and totally awesome iphone case design. I’m excited. I hope you are, too.
Nearly Completed Living Room
I’m not sure I’ll ever be done decorating this room, but it’s so close. Close enough that I really want to share it with you. I finally have artwork on the walls and furniture on the floors. It’s almost a complete style 180 from our last apartment, which is always fun.

I feel your pain, in Oct. our 24″ iMac died, which was a very sad sad day as our Applecare had just run out two months prior. However, I can’t say that I don’t love our new iMac, so there is always a silver lining I guess — and yes Timemachine saved my life.
So sorry to hear about your computer. That was us last weekend. And thanks goodness for our Applecare. They had it fixed in no time WITH upgrades! I can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with for the iphone and your room looks lovely! i love the frame idea. good luck with the computer!

One of the biggest reasons why I have a mac is because of their customer service!
We took the mac into the Apple store yesterday, and the Mac geniuses were super nice and very helpful. If we didn’t buy AppleCare, I think I wouldn’t have minded a new compy. Our new neighbors just got a new iMac, and I’m a tad jealous of how fast it is. I’m also jealous of the magic mouse. Those things are HOTT.
Yep i learnt the hard way that Macs don’t last forever, they can be fickle little things. Hope you didn’t lose too much work, always back-up! Very much looking forward to checking your iPhone case design been thinking about customising mine to make it a little more interesting
